Meg Power is an interdisciplinary artist based in New Jersey, working with themes of identity & gender.

After earning an Associate degree in Fine Arts from the County College of Morris, they continued their education at Mason Gross School of Art, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Their work has been exhibited at institutions such as Saint Marks Arts, CCM, and Rutgers University, where their provocative piece "I love (to hate) myself” (2022) garnered an award at the 2022 Rutgers Annual.

In 2023, Meg collaborated with fine artist Baseera Khan on the famous NYC Highline, contributing to an installation that merged playfulness with critical reflection on the structure, its history, and its surroundings.

Meg has dedicated their personal life to illustration, photography, and the performance art scene, performing as their irreverent clown persona "Greeny." This character, rooted in absurdity and critique, delves into themes of queerness, objectification, and resilience. Beyond performance, Meg's daily iPad drawing practice channels a gritty, surreal aesthetic.

At the core of Meg’s practice lies a fascination with the beauty of the darkness, the light that emerges from pain and sorrow. Across performance, video, photography, and illustration, Meg’s work revels in the unpredictable and chaotic, inviting viewers to embrace discomfort, humor, and vulnerability as pathways to understanding identity and societal expectations.
