Meg Power is an interdisciplinary artist based in New Jersey, working with themes of identity & gender.

Their work has been exhibited at institutions such as Saint Marks Arts in NYC, Propagate Studios in Stewartsville, NJ, CCM in Randolph, NJ, and Rutgers University, where their provocative piece "I love (to hate) myself” (2022) garnered an award at the 2022 Rutgers Annual in New Brunswick, NJ.

In 2023, Meg collaborated with fine artist Baseera Khan on the famous NYC Highline, contributing to an installation that merged playfulness with critical reflection on the structure, its history, and its surroundings.

Meg has dedicated their personal life to illustration, photography, and the performance art scene, performing as their irreverent clown persona "Greeny." This character, rooted in absurdity and critique, delves into themes of objectification, identity, gender, and resilience. Beyond performance, Meg's daily drawing practice channels a similarly gritty, surreal aesthetic.

At the core of Meg’s practice lies a fascination with the light that emerges from pain and sorrow.

Across performance, video, photography, and illustration, Meg’s work revels in the unpredictable, inviting viewers to embrace discomfort, humor, and vulnerability as pathways to understanding their own identity and our societal expectations.
